The super hit Tamil film, presented by Kalanidhi Maran of ‘Robo’-fame, ‘Vettaikaran’ with Vijay and Anushka in the lead is being dubbed into Telugu by MV Gopala Rao on the banner of Jyothi Arts. MV Gopala Rao gained a lot of experience in the film industry as a production designer for about 20 years and is turning producer with this film.

The producer says, ‘The film was produced at a whopping budget of 35 crores and it had very good openings in Tamil Nadu and earned over Rs 50 crore. Presently the dubbing works are in progress. The hero pounces like a tiger on the anti-social elements that were squeezing the innocent people and kills them. That was the reason we gave the title ‘Puliveta’.

Another interesting aspect in the film is that Srihari played a powerful police officer’s role.’ Jeeva, Ravi (Arundhati), Sayaji Shinde, Ghouse and others are in the cast. Sashank Vennelakanti penned dialogues, Bhuvanachandra, Vennelakanti and Vanamali are the lyricists, while music is by Vijay Anthony and editing is by VT Vijayan. Screenplay and direction are by Babu Sivan.
